It’s Your Turn to Write
One-on-one fiction book coaching for women who are ready to make space for their creative ambitions.
Writing a novel is a complex, multi-step undertaking, and many writers feel stuck not because they lack talent or commitment, but because they don’t have a clear path from idea to finished book. Book coaching exists to provide that structure, sequencing, and support.
I work one-on-one with women who have spent years caring for others and are finally ready to make space for their own creative ambitions. Together, we create emotionally resonant, character-driven novels that stay with readers long after the final page and offer hope.
Whether you are starting a novel, trying to regain momentum in the middle, revising a completed draft, or preparing to approach agents, I meet you where you are and guide you through the process step by step, so you are not left guessing your way through something that matters this much to you.
You do not have to write alone.
“Mandy is tremendously encouraging, always providing a safe space to bounce around ideas for story and character development. One thing I did not expect was for the sessions to be so joyful. Having a person who is heavily invested in your characters and story and wants to see how they ultimately turn out is so affirming and motivating.”
~Angela James, Longlisted for the Wigleaf Top 50
Novel Development Coaching
One-on-one guidance to help you move your novel forward
Single Session: $400
Coaching Bundle (purchase 2+ sessions at one time): $350 per session
Novel Development Coaching is for writers who are ready to commit to their goal of writing a novel. It’s for writers who crave the tools, accountability, and mindset needed to transform their vision into a finished novel.
You do not need a polished draft. You simply bring what you have right now, whether that is an idea, notes, or early pages, and we work from there. You may have pages you’re proud of, and you want a discerning eye to let you know if you’re on the right track.
Together, we clarify what your novel needs most, identify what is already working, and create a realistic plan for moving forward. You leave knowing exactly what to focus on next and how to keep writing without second-guessing every step.

Agent-Ready Pitch Coaching
Clear, strategic support for preparing your work for literary agents
$1200
Pitching agents is a different skill from writing a novel, and many writers feel unsure how to present their work professionally, even when the manuscript itself is strong.
This package exists to protect the work you have already poured into your novel by helping you approach agents prepared, informed, and supported, not rushed or guessing.
Agent-Ready Pitch Coaching is designed for writers who feel solid about their manuscript and want thoughtful guidance through the pitching process.
What’s included
In-line feedback on the first 20 pages of your manuscript
In-line feedback on your query letter and synopsis, and a multi-page editorial letter outlining pitch strategy
One 60-minute coaching call to discuss feedback and next steps
Up to three rounds of additional written feedback on query and synopsis
Email support with responses within 24 business hours
After completing this package, you will have a polished query letter, a clear synopsis, confidence in your opening pages, and a grounded strategy for approaching agents.
Please note: this package is only available to current and previous coaching clients. This is because strong pitch materials are meaningless without a strong manuscript, and I want to have confidence that your manuscript is ready.

During the call, your questions about pitching will be answered.
During the call, you’ll practice saying your pitch and get immediate feedback (expect to practice multiple times).

You are welcome to ask questions, voice concerns, and take your time deciding. You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
Frequently Asked Questions

Most of my clients are balancing careers, caregiving, family responsibilities, and full lives. Coaching isn't about writing every day or meeting impossible deadlines. It's about creating a realistic plan, building steady momentum, and helping you keep your novel alive, even during busy seasons.
-
You can purchase a single coaching session whenever you need focused guidance, or save by purchasing a bundle if you'd like ongoing support. Many writers begin with one session and decide afterward whether they'd benefit from continuing together.
Those who purchase a bundle often develop a cadence. Every 2-3 weeks, they submit pages or planning exercises and then we meet virtually to discuss my feedback. Others prefer to meet monthly.
Three to six months of coaching is common, but I also have clients who have been with me for nearly a year. It all depends on where you are in your project and how much support you want along the way.
-
That's exactly what the discovery call is for. We'll talk about where you are in the writing process, what you're struggling with, and which option will best support your goals. There's no pressure to commit during the call.

I specialize in emotionally resonant, character-driven fiction, particularly stories that explore relationships, resilience, identity, and hope. While I work across genres, I'm the best fit for writers who care deeply about creating stories that stay with readers long after the final page.

My role is to coach rather than copyedit. I'll provide thoughtful, high-level feedback on story structure, character development, pacing, scene effectiveness, and craft, along with specific suggestions to strengthen your writing while helping you grow as an author.
