The Teachers' Lounge Accountability Group
Winter Session: 6 weeks
January 4th-February 8th
Sunday mornings, from 10-11 am EST
Inspired by my Substack, The Teachers’ Lounge, this accountability group is designed to transform the lesson format of my newsletter into a live, interactive session where busy creatives (I’m looking at you, teachers and mamas) put their novel-writing dreams first for an hour each week to learn, get coached, and write.
Our Sunday morning lesson plans:
10 minutes: Ask Me Anything. Come with your questions about writing a novel, from “How do I even begin?” to “How do I get published?”
20 minutes: Hot Seat Coaching. Volunteer to get coached “on the spot” over one aspect of your novel. This could be coaching on your initial idea or even feedback on your first pages.
30 minutes: Quiet time to write. This all-important part of the process is where many of us get stalled out. Joining this group will ensure that you write at least 30 minutes a week. It’s a start!
Show up as you are! In your pjs, in the car before your kid’s basketball game, at a coffee shop…whatever! Messy hair, no makeup, and hot coffee are encouraged.
After this winter session, you will have writing and industry insight from three hours of group book coaching and several hundred (if not thousands) of words from three hours of devoted writing time.
Limited to 15 participants.
